- OPGCCI will indicate the number of urns a niche MAY accommodate. This will depend on the size of the urns chosen. Consult your funeral director, indicating the size of the niche you have purchased.
- Notes on engraving:
- Punctuation: commas, periods, dashes, etc. – are not counted as letters.
- Date: will follow one of the following formats: 2010 or Oct 2010. Inclusion of the month will be dependent on the size of the niche.
- Maximum spaces per line: Some niche covers in Section B will accommodate a maximum of only 18 spaces per line, including spaces and punctuation. Number of lines and spacing will be determined at the time engraving details are discussed.
- Additional engraving entail an additional cost. Clients are encouraged to include as much information as possible in the initial engraving.
- Niche covers in Section B will include text only.

- 1st four lines of text will be standardized, remainder will be the client’s choice.
- Example – when the member and a surviving spouse’s names are included in the initial engraving and date of death is added at a later date.
- For consistency, OPGCCI will maintain the current format of month (3 letters only) & year. Letters for months will be all capitalized.
- Except as indicated above, no other engraving will be permitted on niche covers.
- Punctuation: commas, periods, dashes, etc. – are not counted as letters.

- Niche covers in Section C will include only text and Corps Badges.
We have made available a number of trees throughout the cemetery for which Memorial Rights can be purchased. It is important to note that the tree will remain the property of Oromocto Pioneer Gardens Cemetery with only the Memorial Rights being purchased. Cost $750 This includes a slanted foot marker – 9” x 7” x 6.3” This is constructed of dark black granite and has a polished face with rock edges, suitable for engraving as per the client’s wishes.
